Rivals Maps Tier List (All 6 Maps)
Rivals ships six maps: Construction, Onyx, Docks, Crossroads, Station, and Bridge. Each favors different weapons and modes. This tier list ranks the maps by competitive value and tells you which guns to bring.
How Map Tier Works
We rank maps by how fairly they reward skill, how readable their sightlines are, and how well they support every mode from 1v1 to 5v5. A map that only suits one weapon class ranks lower for general play.
Every map is playable; this list is about which ones give the cleanest competitive experience.
S Tier Maps
Construction is the flagship: open lanes and long sightlines reward the Sniper and Energy Rifle and make rounds readable. Crossroads centers on a contested midpoint that rewards aim and rotation sense.
Both support every mode well, which is why they anchor most ranked queues.
A Tier Maps
Station has fast rotations and good high ground, great for mid-range kits and 5v5. Docks adds verticality and flanks that reward the Shotgun and movement play.
These two are slightly more chaotic but very fun once you learn the callouts.
B Tier Maps
Onyx is tight corners and ambush heavy — amazing for the Shotgun and Knife, punishing for the Sniper. Bridge is narrow and high-risk, favoring close fights and freeze utility.
Strong, but map-locked: bring the right gun or lose.
Best Weapons Per Map
Construction and Crossroads: Sniper, Energy Rifle, Assault Rifle. Station: Assault Rifle, Minigun. Docks: Shotgun, Bow. Onyx: Shotgun, Knife. Bridge: Shotgun, Permafrost.
Match your loadout to the map before you queue — see the best loadouts guide for full kits.
Learning the Maps
Each map has a dedicated guide: construction map guide, onyx map guide, docks map guide, crossroads map guide, station map guide, and bridge map guide. Read them for angles, chokes, and callouts.
Map knowledge often matters more than gun tier, so study at least your two queue favorites.
