Best Loadout Tier List in Rivals

Full 4-slot Rivals loadouts ranked S–D for 1v1, 2v2, and 5v5, built only from verified weapons.

Best Loadout Tier List in Rivals

A loadout in Rivals is four slots — Primary, Secondary, Melee, and Utility. The best kit covers range, close quarters, and a weakness. This tier list ranks complete loadouts S–D and notes which mode each one fits.

How We Rank Loadouts

We score a loadout by role coverage (does it have an answer at every range?), synergy (do the slots help each other?), and cost efficiency (does it waste Keys?). A loadout that overlaps two explosive slots but has no close option scores low even if both guns are strong.

Every gun below is verified — see the weapon tier list for the individual rankings.

S Tier Loadouts

Sniper + Revolver + Katana + Permafrost (utility): freeze then delete at any range, with hitscan deflection for safety. Assault Rifle + Uzi + Katana + RPG: a free, balanced kit that works in every mode.

These two anchor ranked play. The first is skill-based; the second is the safest climb kit in the game.

A Tier Loadouts

Minigun + Uzi + Knife + Grenade Launcher: angle control plus close burst for 5v5. Bow + Energy Pistols + Fists + Distortion: mobility and poke with double-jump traversal.

Both reward team play and map knowledge. The bow kit is a tech pick for players who love movement — see the rivals movement guide.

B Tier Loadouts

Shotgun + Revolver + Knife + Flamethrower: pure rush for tight maps. Energy Rifle + Slingshot + Daggers + Exogun: mid-range poke with trick angles.

These are strong but map-locked. The Shotgun kit is S Tier on Onyx and Bridge, B elsewhere.

C Tier Loadouts

Crossbow + Energy Pistols + Fists + Distortion: high-skill, low-forgiveness. Spray + Slingshot + Daggers + Paintball Gun: fun but narrow.

Viable for experienced players, but they ask more than they give for most ranks.

Loadouts by Mode

1v1: Sniper or Assault Rifle kits. 2v2 and 3v3: Minigun or Bow kits. 5v5: Grenade Launcher or Exogun kits for team fights.

The rivals modes tier list explains how team size changes which loadout wins. Build yours in the loadout builder guide.

A Warning About Fake Weapon Tier Lists

Before you trust any Rivals tier list, check the gun names. Several popular "tier lists" rank weapons that do not exist in the game. Rivals has 53 weapons plus 5 gamemode-exclusive weapons, and that is the entire arsenal.

These weapons are fabricated and are NOT in Rivals: Heavy Sniper, Pulse AR, Freeze Ray, Chainsaw, Battle Axe, cyber armor. If a list ranks a "Heavy Sniper", a "Pulse AR", a "Freeze Ray", a "Chainsaw", a "Battle Axe", or "cyber armor", treat the whole list as unreliable. Every weapon on this wiki is verified to ship in Rivals.
